The ultimate jacket for a flower lover!
Created for a presentation at the 1993 AIFD National Symposium.

This satin gown was hand died and the accented with swirl patterns of velvet crimson rose petals to capture the flowing glamour of the 1940's.
The neckline was accented with a hand-crafted dutchess rose.

I hand-made this wedding gown and hand petalled the bodice and hem with faux tulip petals. The jewelled ornaments and tassels were generously donated by The Jim Marvin Collection.
The bride carried a romantic clustered bouquet of fragrant garden roses in matching colors.

Three guys just crazy enough to dress up in costumes for the Asian segment of the program. The shogun, Phil Rulloda, wore a mini-headdress of anthuriums and his two cohorts argued about the sizes of their anthuriums. ;-).

The finale' fashion - a Cinderella gown created with thousands of fresh dendrobium orchid florets, pave' rose petals, rose clusters and cymbidium orchid accents.
The model entered the stage under a shower of rose petals and was swept away by Prince Chamring.

A dress sculpted from shrink wrap film with a heat gun and embedded with fresh allium, anthuriums and tropical flowers and foliages for a futuristic portion of the presentation.

This cape and front faux jacket were hand woven from Knud Nielsen dried flax and accessorized with dried lotus pods and fresh anthuriums and strong of pearls. To complete the tropical look, the model's hair was accented with a bird woven from fresh hala foliage.
