One of the greatest advances in floral shipping was the advent of the Procona. Growers cut the flowers and place them into rectangular buckets of water (made by Procona), then add a cardboard collar and plastic lid. Flowers are shipped vertically, at proper handling temperature and with hydration, which greatly increases the quality of the flowers we use. We also love the Proconas for our coolers, too! These are from Ocean View, which is a supplier of premium stock, delphinium, and other flowers. Boxes of holiday greens are piled on either site, ready to become your holiday centerpieces.
