After arrival, boxed flowers are inspected, cut, placed into buckets of water, which are then placed into massive coolers for storage. The buckets on the floor and the wall shelves will be used for orders already placed, or florists can pick from them if they visit (Kathy from The Bloomery is at the other end of the cooler looking for some tulips). In addition to temperature, proper hydration of flowers is essential to their quality and vase life. This was taken inside BW's new cooler.
