Married on May 10th, Heather chose to use beautiful Talea+ roses and Viviane! spray roses from Eufloria Flowers for her bouquet accented with lily grass and ivy in a contemporary cascade bouquet. Her bridesmaids carried handtied bouquets of matching flowers.

These beautiful images were captured by favorite
photographer Jennifer Stone

A number of brides have chosen the more traditional cascade/teardrop style bouquet this year with a more tailored and stylized look. Congratulations Heather and Shane!

To honor her Grandmother, we recently had a bride to use gladiolas for her wedding. Her bouqeut was created with Glamelias, a composit flower, and white wax flower. A composite flower is created by hand using multiple blooms of the same flower for a truly unique look.

Floriography dates back to the Victorian era. Flowers and floral arrangements were sent to convey a coded message at a time such matters could not be discussed openly.

Red roses signify passion, love, and desire. Yellow roses meant friendship, joy and respect. Orange roses were for fascination. The daisy symbolized innocence while the foxglove represented insincerity.

There are also flowers that represent each month, much the same as birth stones. Were you born in June? Your flower is the rose. Violets are for February.

There are even flowers representing each sign of the zodiac. Taurus is the iris, tulips for Aries.

For a more complete list you can visit each category on our website:

Use a little floriography in your bridal bouquet and smile a secret smile on your wedding day!
