Godiva Chocolate has finally arrived at Flowers From The Rainflorist
Just in time for the upcoming Holidays of Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa our shipment of Godiva Chocolates has arrived at Flowers From The Rainflorist. Of course the staff has been eagerly awaiting the arrival as we do a taste test on every product that comes into the shop! We call it quality control but it is just an excuse to “taste” the good stuff!
Well as you can imagine, the staff was excited and just waiting for the arrival of the FedEx truck and then, here he was! In came four large containers ….yes, the GREAT Moment! They arrived in their own insulted chest and each container carried a different item of Godiva in their famous gold boxes with signature ribbon. Oolala!…
So let’s start with the simple “candy bar”….dark chocolate or milk chocolate bars…both smooth, creamy and absolutely delicious. Everything you want a chocolate to be! And just the right size to slip in a handbag for an afternoon pick me up.
Then the cartons with the boxes of dark chocolate and milk chocolate samplers….everything from Midnight Swirl, Dark Ganache Bliss, Raspberry Ganache Twirl, Dark Caramel Embrace to Lion of Belgium, Almond Praline Raindrop, , and Macadamia Mosaic…just too much to chose from. Each one has a special flavor, texture and all the goodness of quality velvety ganaches and the intensity of dark chocolate. Some have a hint of vanilla, some have the subtle taste of caramel, and some are raspberry infused.
Then we opened a box of sugar free…the boxes are silver and very elegant. Of course by now, we were happy to have sugar-free! But this sugar free is like no other..it is decadent, it is delicious…it is like none other….it is Godiva! This assortment included: Sugar Free Chocolate with Almonds, Sugar Free Chocolate with Pecans and Crisp Rice, Sugar Free Dark Chocolate with Almonds, and Sugar Free Dark Chocolate with Pecans and Crisp Rice. By the time we finished taking “tastes” it was time to just sit back and savor the moment!
We didn’t have the “room” to try one of the chocolate Delights Baskets that arrived all decked out with their signature ribbon. We did peek and the flavors which feature a 15 pc. Milk Chocolate Gift Box, 8 pc. Gold Ballotin, 4 pc. Chocolate Truffle Gift Box, Milk Chocolate Cocoa Packet and three Godiva Chocoiste Treats, Milk Chocolate Strawberries, Milk Chocolate Bar with Caramel, and Solid Dark Chocolate Bar. All this needs is a bottle of Dom Perignon delivered with it and we have that too!
So if when you need to impress a friend, client, future mother n law or just want to enjoy some for yourself after a brutal day of working or shopping…stop in…..we have them waiting for you! But please hurry before we eat them all...they keep calling our names...what? You didn't know that Godiva can talk?
