A blue and white wedding in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl
A Blue and White Affair of the Heart
When organizing a wedding, choosing a wedding theme is one of the first things that the Floral Artisans and Consultants at Flowers From The Rainflorist suggest that you decide upon. The wedding theme is so central to the wedding that it will impact everything else that is planned. Do you want a garden theme, a Victorian theme, a romantic theme, a tropical beach side theme or perhaps an earthy wine tasting theme? Having a theme will help you chose your dresses, flowers, food, invitations and many times even your location for the ceremony or reception.
Our Bride this month wanted a simple but elegant and romantic look. She worked with the Bridal Consultants and Floral Artisans at Flowers From The Rainflorist to create a theme of flowing, soft, romantic flowers using two featured colors of white and shades of blues. The Bride’s bouquet was an artistic presentation using a medley of different sized white roses accented with a touch of blue hydrangea bloomets carried in a romantic customized handle of white peau de soie trimmed in pearls and crystals to match her couture gown.
For her attendants, they chose unique, stylish blue hydrangeas pomanders in rich colors and structure consistent of their lovely bridesmaid’s dresses. Even their hair styles kept true to the clean lines and elegant style of the wedding.
Their angelic flower girls carried blue satin baskets filled with petals and trimmed in two shades of blue. This young lady’s face joy reflects the happiness and joy that all had for the Bride and Groom.
Their Wedding Ceremony was held at Mt. Bethel Church which has a large and impressive alter area. The Bride and Groom rented one of our arches and matching stands from Flowers From The Rainflorist to make the area cozy to exchange their vows.
Greenery for the aisle was kept simple and elegant as well and was moved to the reception to add to the décor of the head table.
The Wedding Reception for 225 guests followed at Diamante’s Banquet Center, where the room was decorated in beautiful white linen and chair covers accented with a beautiful blue chair bow. As the guests entered the ballroom, they were greeted by lighted centerpieces of white roses, blue delphinium and delicate white wax flower accents. Flowers From The Rainflorist offers their best wishes for a lifetime of wedded bliss to our couple and a "thank you" for choosing us as your Personal Florist on your Great Day!
