Excellence in Business Awards Sponser
Central Square Florist will provide table flowers for the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce Excellance in Business awards. Each year, the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce recognizes the outstanding achievements of Cambridge-area businesses with the Excellence in Business Awards. Six awards are presented to exemplary companies, organizations or individuals who have made an impact on the City of Cambridge and Chamber of Commerce in the past year. The keynote speaker for the evening will be Douglas Foy, who served as a consultant in the development of the Cambridge Energy Alliance project. He will speak about this exciting initiative to significantly reduce energy use in Cambridge and improve the environment by providing technical and financial assistance to Cambridge businesses, residents, and institutions. Foy has identified that cities are the entity to address the world’s major environmental problems. The Cambridge Energy Alliance has been designed as a model for other cities and Foy will discuss the important role the business community has in making this project a success.
