A guide to buying your homecoming corsage or boutonniere
Homecoming season is here, and prom is not as far off as it looks. Writers Matt Vail and Claiborne Fletcher wrote an article filled with good advice for corsage and boutonniere buyers:
Buying a corsage is a simple process. Much easier, in fact, than actually attempting to understand the emphasis ladies put on these mysterious, quasi-bouquets.
To succeed in buying the best corsage, guys, the best bet for us is to communicate with our dates. It’s almost guaranteed your date will share some essential details (for example, the color of her dress, what kind of jewelry she’s planning to wear and, of course, what color boutonniere she’s buying for you).
Very often, the boutonniere and corsage are ordered together, to make sure they match.
Once you are educated with this basic information, it’s time to hit the road and find the best florist for the job. It’s in the best interest of the florist — and yourself —if the corsage order is placed sooner, rather than later. You want your order to be ready early, and you want the florist to have time to do an adequate job.
Great advice! When you're ordering your corsage, don't forget to ask about ways to personalize the corsage and boutonniere. For instance, we have rhinestone and jeweled wristlets, which can be used as bracelets after the dance, as well as rhinestones and decorative elements for both the boutonniere and corsage.
Also, may we suggest The Bloomery as the best florist in the Butler, PA area?
