Butler County Humane Society's 2007 Fur Ball Centerpieces

On April 27, 2007, the Butler County Humane Society held its Fur Ball at the Butler Country Club.  We were thrilled to be selected to create the centerpieces for the event.  The challenge was to design something original, whimsical and memorable.  Click on the photo for a larger view.

Our first centerpiece was a kitten made from white carnations, with a maribou tail, contentedly resting in a bed of fern.

The other centerpiece was inspired by a Phil Rulloda design, and is a frisky panting puppy made from white carnations, nestled in a basket of fern.

We heard the event was a great time, and successful in building support for the shelter.  Keep an eye on their website at http://members.petfinder.org/~PA23/ for more events which help support a very worthwhile cause.
