White Wedding Bouquets for the Bride
This past year, we've been seeing a resurgence of Orange County bride's choosing to carry all white or predominantly white flowers for their wedding day. Colorful, seasonal bouquets have been popular for the last several years, but the return to classic white doesn't mean the bouquets have to look like Mom's.
A light touch of color - contemporary greens, blush pinks or pale peaches and cream - still adds dimension to the photographs while giving a nod to tradition. Adding unique trims, like handle adornments, makes these all-important flower accessories as up-to-date as the wedding fashion's they'll accompany.
Below are some variations on visions of white.
Ultra-White Lush Bridal Bouquet
A richly textured hand-tied bouquet of gardenias, hydrangeas, roses, spray roses, lisianthus and ranunculus wrapped in white satin and trimmed with rhinestones and an antique brooch.
Contemporary White Orchid Bouquet

Phalaeonopsis and dendrobium orchids accented with white anthuriums, green hydrangeas and contemporary silver wire work give this cascading bouquet a unique yet dreamy feel.
Contemporary Green and White Hand-tied Bouquet

A richly textured, grouped design featuring white peonies, hyacinths, dahlias, hydrangeas and spathiphyllum blossoms with cymbidium orchids, hypericum, viburnum and amaranthus in shades of green are a perfect match for a clean, contemporary gown.
We believe that going white doesn't mean a bride's personality can't shine through, and no matter the color choice, reflecting her vision of her special day is what really matters when it comes to wedding flowers.
Are you seeing more white wedding bouquets in the coming wedding season? We'd like to hear.
