Valentine's Day Flowers: Celebrating the Week
With Valentine's Day falling on a Saturday this year, many of our customers have pondered when to have their Valentine's Day flowers delivered this week. My favorite quip came from a successful Orange County business man who called to request his wife's arrangement (a large presentation of roses, Dutch and tropical flowers) be delivered Monday, so she could enjoy them in the office all week.
"I like to set the bar early and high and make her the envy of the office. Waiting to deliver flowers 'on' Valentine's Day is for amateurs."
He's not the only sweetheart opting to be cupid in advance of the traditional holiday rush, and we've sweetened the incentive by including free Gourmet Chocolate Truffles on deliveries made prior to Friday.
What's popular so far? The classic dozen red roses in a variety of styles and stem lengths (although colors like pink, green and orange are fast gaining in popularity this year), our Valentine's Day Puppy Dog, the stylish Roses Mi Amor and our artful Two Heart tropical design are leading right now. We expect tulips and other spring flowers orders to increase as the week goes on and are offering wrapped bouquets of tulips for just $9.95 for pick-up from the store.
Our Anaheim flower shop will be open extended hours, from 8 am to 7 pm, Thursday through Saturday and customers can place orders for carry-out or delivery at avantegardens.com 24/7.
Whatever your choice of flowers to say "Will you be my Valentine?", order early to ensure your special selection is in stock and ready to show the love.
Happy Valentine's Week from all of us at Avante Gardens!
