Bouquets of Thanks
As mentioned in my previous post about being thankful, today I'm giving a personal list of 'thanks'.
To Our Customers - who've supported Avante Gardens and trusted us to express their many sentiments through flowers. As we enter our 25th year of business this week (more on our anniversary celebrations later) we are truly grateful to be allowed to do what we love and love what we do. 
To Our Flower Shop Team - These bright, dedicated florists commit daily to delivering the best floral products and services possible and never stop looking for ways to improve our company. As my second 'family', I'm truly blessed to work with them each and every day.
To the Mavens - who share their insights via blogs, articles, floral industry activism and conversations and have helped make me a better florist and business person. This year special thanks go out to:
Ryan Freeman - a 5th generation florist, SEO and owner of Flower Chat, who shares his vast knowledge and expertise to help improve the visibility of local florists.
Mike Blumenthal - Who wittily and caringly covers local search issues that affect millions of small businesses. Plus, he sends flowers through local florists. :)
Matt McGee - Whose Small Business SEM blog's take on issues that affect local businesses is keen and timely. Matt cuts through the information clutter to concisely express the important topics of the day. And he sends flowers through local florists, too.
Caroline Foster Marshall - Publisher of the UK's
Florist & Wholesale Buyer whose 'big picture' take on the flower business is always illuminating. She asks the tough questions and is fearless when pursuing stories that affect florists on both sides of the Atlantic.
Barbara Brooks - owner of b brooks fine flowers, whose commitment to independent florists and care about the quality of professional floristry is reinforced with her business practices. Barbara's company was the first national wire service to alert members about local listings hijackings in Google. She's truly a champion of local flower shops.
To My Family - without whose support daily my business and networking in the industry and on the web would be impossible. There aren't enough flowers on earth to really express my thanks to them.
Happy Thanksgiving! You each make me truly thankful and I owe a debt of gratitude.
