Treasures from the Past

Some of the best arrangements we make aren't the biggest or the most artistically challenging.  They're often the ones that remind us just how much the gift of flowers makes memories.

A customer stopped in yesterday and requested we make the special bouquet to welcome her newborn grandson. "Can you include these" she said as she pulled a ceramic ornament and a tiny blue corduroy bear from a bag.

"I received them in a pretty flower arrangement when my little boy was born and have been saving them just for this special day.  Today my son had his first child - a son - and I want to give them to him."

A sweet, simple flower order, planned long ago, by a loving mom who was sharing her special memory decades later.

Treasures from the past given to her very precious present.

I hope the new mom can hold on to these for another generation--what a great family tradition!
