Top Florists visit Avante Gardens

What a treat to have three renown florists stop by our flower shop for a visit yesterday afternoon.

Art Conforti of Sarasota's Beneva Flowers and LocalFlowerShop.com, Walter Knoll of St. Louis' Walter Knoll Florist and Paul Brockway of Alexandria, VA's Conklyn's Florist were taking in an Angels game and dropped by for a quick tour of the shop and Phil's school of floral design.

Their companies, each the leading flower retailers in their respective metro markets, are known for top quality, marketing innovations and using state-of-the-art technology in business operations and customer service. Walter's and Paul's uses of leading edge technology were featured in this month's issue of Floral Management.

Though the visit was brief, it was great to see the guys.

Great to hear you guys got all your wiring completed. Pretty soon you'll be blogging and uploading shots of your gorgeous flower arrangements. :)

all order gatherers.  Art out selling his web site teaching the pay per click game?  Walter Knoll flowers is the order gatherer for Hallmark Flowers all putting on the web site other items not flowers to drop ship!  Why don't you read your real florist blog

Working Florist -

I'm a working florist, too. :)  Art and Walter run two of the most successful brick and mortar flower shop operations in the US. Both offer unique flower shopping experiences far beyond the 'cookie cutter' looks of wire services. They are real florists with many, many happy local customers.

You may not agree with every aspect of their business' operations (I know I don't ;) ) but IMO it would be a huge mistake to fail to recognize their accomplishments.
