The Art of an Apology
I just read on Guardian Unlimited that Serenata Flowers' Peter Ahl has apologized to Naked Blog and other bloggers (like Bloomery, Human Flower Project, us and no doubt many others) for the comment spamming done on his company's behalf by a third-party marketer.
Mr. Ahl's eloquent apology makes no excuses and takes full responsibility for the spam although the line "Ahl also said it took a while to identify which of its online partners was responsible" gives one pause.
In the course of discussing this story among professional florists, one well-respected Toronto florist spoke of Serenata's top rate service when he placed a UK destined order with them for one of his local customers. He described how the London-based company provided great value without all the added Interflora fees. Like I said in the previous post, Serenata looks to being doing many things right.
I've changed the link to Naked Blog from my previous post and hope the Serenata 'review' sets into the sun, but not so swiftly that other spammers don't see the lesson taught here.
